If you are totally new to knitting, or if you have some knitting skills and want a “refresher”
or guidance in the basics, then this circle is for you!  It is open to anyone, and you can
begin anytime and work at your own pace.  The projects are a beginner scarf, using
basic knit and purl stitches, and a beginner hat, using circular knitting, shaping stitches
and double point needles to close up the top.  Instructions for both projects are provided
at drop in.

This drop in circle has replaced a specific learn to knit class, so you are encouraged to
use it as a place to learn to begin knitting and get help with basics & progress as a
knitter!

Come as often as you like, and just pay a $10 fee per visit.  Suggested supplies will be
at the table, and you can shop with a 10% off class materials discount.

Once you’ve learned to knit or refreshed your skills by making the scarf and/or hat, you
are ready to move on!  We can help you with your next projects - sign up for a specific
class, or choose your own project and use “Knit Tutor” drop in sessions to get help.

Easy Knitting Drop In Circles will be most Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:30 - plus a few
extra dates on non Thursdays.
