“Hat Trick” Hat Class
This is a 2 session class. You may make any of the three hat styles. If making a hat is totally
new to you, choose the Standard style - it’s a great beginner hat! If you want more of a
challenge, choose one of the other styles, and learn how to knit cords, earflaps and maybe a
tassel top. The hats are totally seamless, and really fun to make!
Included in the class will be making pom poms and blocking & finishing tips.
You will be able to purchase all supplies with 10% discount .
If you know which hat style you want to make, use the supplies list below.
If you would like to ask Ruth questions and decide in class, that is fine too!
It’s only necessary for you to be able to knit and purl. All other skills will be taught. This
is a super “next step” project for a new knitter. It’s also great for anyone wanting to learn
techniques for circular knitting, reading & following this hat pattern, using double points
for making cords & earflaps, and shaping a hat top.
